The Center for Educational Effectiveness is actively developing experiences and resources to support instructors as they consider ways to integrate GenAI into the classroom. Please check back for updates.

 

  • Just-in-Time Teaching on GenAI

    The Just-in-Time series on GenAI shares strategies to support multilingual students as well as an array of ways to bring GenAI into your classroom. The handout version provides a brief overview of the series. A full series of resources for teaching topics is available.

     

     
  • UC Davis GenAI Student Survey
    GenAI Student Survey link

    During the 2024 Winter Quarter, the Center for Educational Effectiveness surveyed all undergraduate students (N= ~31,000) about their perceptions, uses, and future value of Generative AI (GenAI). Key takeaways include the majority of students: a) deeply consider the ethics of using GenAI for academic work; b) believe GenAI is important to work after college; c) cautious in trusting the accuracy of GenAI; d) do not use GenAI frequently.   • GenAI Library Guide

    The GenAI Library Guide is a collaboration between the Center for Educational Effectiveness and the Library. It aims to provide guidance on using AI by linking to key frameworks, best practices, and current research to help users deepen their understanding of this emerging issue. The Teaching and Learning section contains advice for students learning with AI and tools for instructors to develop policies and practices for teaching with AI. The teaching and learning experts in CEE are available to help instructors explore teaching strategies and construct course policies pertaining to Generative AI.
